We've doubled our bandwidth with one provider and tripled it with another. We have increased our bandwidth with AT &T and Time Warner. We are also having TW install Gigabit equipment and have been upgrading our routers and switches over the last few weeks. We've added Gigabit at our Core and are replacing all our older Bay Switches with Cisco Catalyst units. We've manage to keep any interruptions during these upgrades seamless and unnoticeable.

At approximately 7:55PM US Central Standard Time our UPS systems alerted on call technicians to a power outage at our Host Drive Data Center. Heavy storms damaged a transformer and caused damage to another. Power crews were on site almost immediately, however it took several hours to repair the damage. Our Generator installation was slated for August 09, however we will attempt to move this date up with our contractor to avoid any such outages in the future. Uptime at our Host Drive Facilities was in excess of 2.5 years prior to this outage. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Our Staff remained on call throughout the outage and made sure that all servers were brought on line following restoration of power services. Hosting Lizard Hosting Servers upgraded. We have completed our system wide upgrade of our Hosting Lizard Shared Hosting and Reseller Hosting Servers. Each server has been upgraded at a cost of $1600 + a piece in order to increase processing power, space, and performance for our customers. Upgrades have been performed on a per server basis over the last couple weeks with each upgrade requiring no more than 10 minutes each to perform.
As always, we like to keep one step ahead of the game. Keeping our customers happy starts with keeping our servers and service at the highest levels possible.

Hosting Lizard to add OptiMan Fiber Services from AT&T offering in excess of Gigibit speeds. A new larger router was purchased last month in anticipation of the additional fiber feed. With the installation of additional capacity comes additional bandwidth, as well as more redundancy. We hope to finalize installation and bring the new circuit live by end of 3rd quarter 2007.
